      Streaming issue

      I'm outside of the US right now for quite some time and would like to be able to still stream some of my favorite TV shows, primarily Heroes and 24. However, hulu, NBC, etc. won't stream outside of the country. Do you have any recommendations as to sites I could still get those shows from when they come out, a way to change a setting so the site would permit me to watch it, or should I just stick with torrents?

      I take it from your Facebook, you're in Russia at the moment? I would think that what you can stream would depend on the country, anything that you'll be able to stream there would most likely be in Russian. I would stick with torrents and other illegal means.

      If you can set up a proxy/VPN into the US, then you can stream through that. Chances are though, that it'll go really slow.

      You can (or atleast you could) use a little application called hotspotshield to get a decent VPN/Proxy connection to the US which should enable streaming. It will probably be a bit slower than at home, but it's acceptable.
