The new notification systems are pretty strange, I'm starting to get used to them being down a bit, but they take forever to go away. I think Ubuntu 9.10 queues the messages, instead of making the next one replace the last one. Ubuntu One seems kind of pointless, like a Dropbox that only works with Ubuntu ._. |

Why does it have to be open source? If you're doing professional work, you need a professional tool. Do you have a computer other than your Linux box that you can use? The software you want is called SoundBooth. It's part of CS4, but obviously it's OSX and Windows only. I doubt it will run on Wine. |

They released the Xubuntu 9.10 as well. Subtle differences, yes. But I prefer Xubuntu. |
