Thread: Changing your voice (VOIP)?

So i thought it would be totally awesome to sound like one of these guys (attachment). Is there a program that would allow you to change your voice into the one provided? Or to the guy that made Unreal Tournament 2004 announcer?

No, those don't exist outside of the movies. The theory is there, and voice manipulation is possible with a wide variety of software, but automatic matching is currently impossible.

Yes, you can do that with a wide variety of software. Not sure how many free ones though, Some that come to mind are Adobe SoundBooth, Apple Final Cut Studios, and Sony Vegas. Each cost over $1000.

Getting a robotic voice is a matter of reducing sound quality most of the time actually and adding a slight echo.
It can be done in Audacity to some extent.

The other one is more difficult, and will require you to smoke a lot of cigarettes.

Robotic is easy, type what you want said into a text editor and record Voice-over
