Oh, ok only semi-frozen

What operating system is your computer running?

Windows 7

What is on your screen when you come back?

It's completely black, but that's the setting I set it too. After a few minutes the screen turns off to save battery power. That's normal.

Is it completely black?

Yes

How do you "unfreeze" it?

I just need to move the mouse or push a button and then wait a couple minutes for it to unfreeze.

What appears on your screen when the "freeze" is over?

My desktop, working normally.

I have a similar computer, Satellite Pro, 2 gigabyte RAM, 250GB HD and same CPU. I've never had the problem, and it sounds software related, as in a virus.
