HI.
Lately I have been struggling with WILD like a bitch.
My method is based on doing a WBTB, but I don't try to fall asleep aware, my point is to fall asleep on my back completely unaware, because when I do this, in 20 minutes I'm awake ready to DEILD.

my problem is that lately I couldn't fall asleep anymore, I think I know why, but anyways I'm going to show you my tries and hypothesis so I hear your opinion:

Friday: Slept for 4 hs, stayed up for 120 minutes.
Result: beginning of hipnagogia, then nothing

Saturday: Slept for 3 hs, stayed up for 120 minutes.
Result: entered into SP, but it went fast

Sunday: Slept for 3 hs, stayed up for 60 minutes.
Result: Slept on my side, same result as 1

Thursday: Slept for 3 hs, stayed up for 90 minutes.
Result: Felt that I wouldn't fall asleep never, so I turned to my side and fell asleep

Saturday: Slept for 6 hs, stayed up for 90 minutes.
Result: Entered into SP, had some hallucinations, but opened my eyes too early ( this was the best try)

Sunday: Slept for 6 hs, stayed up for 60 minutes.
Result: couldn't fall asleep because of sounds

Monday: Slept for 6 hs, stayed up for 60 minutes.
Result: couldn't fall asleep because of sounds

Tuesday: Slept for 6 hs, stayed up for 60 minutes.
Result: couldn't fall asleep because of sounds

Tried a lot of times more, but same results, couldn't fall asleep

Now, this is very very weird. why? because at the beginning I had a lot of lovely results, I was doing very good, and all of a sudden I fail like a motherfucker.

I'm going to explain some hypothesis that doesn't apply to the case, just to eliminate and then I'm going to give you my best hypothesis, because it applies to all the cases.

1- Getting anxious.
No, this doesn't apply to the first results, because I felt a bit anxious and I could fall asleep perfectly.

2- Staying awake too little hours during the day.
No, it doesn't apply to the Saturday in where I have the best result, because in Friday I stayed up for 12 hs, and it's too little.

3-Position and Disturbs.
I mean that I must sleep in a exactly back position and that I don't have to get any any little disturb. Doesn't apply to the first results, I lied on my back, always in my back, but I moved a lot, and also got a bit of disturbies...

If all of these doesn't apply, when which Hypothesis does applies to all the cases?

Time I stay awake in WBTB + No Noises.

This is the best hypothesis I have.
This means:
I have to stay up for longer than 100 minutes. Why? I don't really know, but if I do a short WBTB (less than 80 minutes) then It won't work, I won't fall asleep because it seems that I really need to stay for 100 minutes. If I stay for 50 minutes and then go to bed, then my body will just not fall asleep until I complete the 100 minutes of being conscious.
This could be because when I wake up I eat something, then maybe the body needs to work with it a bit and shouldn't let me fall asleep so fast.
Another thing is that I must not have noises. The main noise that didn't let me fall asleep is my mother's alarm at 7.30 (from monday to friday), it's a radio, and she doesn't turn it off until 8.30, so...yeah, it's horrible. I found that if I want to fall asleep I need to have 0 noises. This like TV and MUSIC does fuck me off.

I'm going to explain, based on this theory, why some days worked and why some days not:

Friday: Slept for 4 hs, stayed up for 120 minutes.
Result: beginning of hipnagogia, then nothing

Friday was holiday, so I had no noises.
Noises = Good
Timing = Good

Saturday: Slept for 3 hs, stayed up for 120 minutes.
Result: entered into SP, but it went fast
Noises = Good
Timing = Good

Sunday: Slept for 3 hs, stayed up for 60 minutes.
Result: Slept on my side, same result as 1
Noises = Good
Timing = Good

Thursday: Slept for 3 hs, stayed up for 90 minutes.
Result: Felt that I wouldn't fall asleep never, so I turned to my side and fell asleep
Noises = Good
Timing = Good
I fail because I wasn't in a good mood to WILD

Saturday: Slept for 6 hs, stayed up for 90 minutes.
Result: Entered into SP, had some hallucinations, but opened my eyes too early ( this was the best try)
Noises = Good
Timing = Good

Sunday: Slept for 6 hs, stayed up for 60 minutes.
Result: couldn't fall asleep because of sounds
Noises = Bad (my mother woke up too early and entered into the room)
Timing = Bad

Monday: Slept for 6 hs, stayed up for 60 minutes.
Result: couldn't fall asleep because of sounds
Noises = Bad
Timing = Bad

Tuesday: Slept for 6 hs, stayed up for 60 minutes.
Result: couldn't fall asleep because of sounds
Noises = Bad
Timing = Bad

As you can see, the main thing is timing, I must stay awake for at least 100 minutes, and I must not have disturbing noises. So based on these assumptions, my next try is going to be like this: Sleep for 4 hs, Stay awake for 100 minutes.

Tell me what do you think.
