      The falling asleep part

Last night, as i have been for a week now, i tried a WBTD WILD, except i woke up about 10 minutes before my alarm was set to go off, (about 2:00), since i was up i figured i'd turn off my alarm, stuff around for a bit and try WILD. (i find if i immediately go back to sleep i can't maintain concentration)

At 2:30 i went back to bed and started counting, i swear i must of done about 700 counts, i keep resetting after i reach about 200, the numbers get to complicated
I lost all sensation, and my hand and foot went numb after, but i couldn't manage to get to SP, just sitting there chilling, i thought it was for half an hour but i gave up at 3:30. Am i doing something wrong? Or was i trying to go back to non REM sleep?

When the numbers get too complicated I think that's a good sign... Maybe you should relax a little more??

You're welcome! I was doing the counting stuff for a few days, but not for WILDS. I was trying to see if it would help me sleep. At the start of it, I could reach 100 easily and start over, but as time progressed I would get lost around the 20's and random thoughts would pop into my head. After this went on for a few minutes I would fall asleep completely. So yeh, the numbers getting complicated is a good thing. In the past, counting would keep me awake, but I've learned that the trick is to go to sleep normally, and "lightly" count in the back of your head. It's hard to explain, lol.
