Okay guys I would really appreciate any help with this.
Last night I experienced sleep paralysis a few times. My goal was to induce sleep paralysis and watch the construction of my dream. So I experienced sleep paralysis and while it was happening I was slowly transitioning from the waking world to the dream world. I could still move my body in the real world although I knew if I was to do this I would come out of sleep paralysis and wake up so I continued to relax while it was happening. At one point it seemed that my field of vision turned from being black to doing a back flip (my field of vision did a back flip) and then it zoomed into slowly and I was in a dream. The dream so far consisted of the view of a street and trees (an average neighborhood) and a few people walking on the sidewalk. At this point I tried to walk over to the people on the sidewalk but I felt as if I had to think my way to moving around instead of trying to move my legs/arms. The reason I thought this is because I felt like I could still move my body back in the waking world. It turns out I was right because as I transitioned from "thinking" my way to movement to actually trying to move in the dream the dream faded away quickly and I returned to my bed. My opinion on this is that I wasn't in a completed state of the dream and so I shouldn't' have moved around or attempted to do anything yet. Another theory of mine is that during the "dream construction" I somehow lost sleep paralysis. Anyways I would incredibly appreciate any help or questions to help me come to an understanding and learn how to do this successfully.(Go from waking world to dream world consciously).
Basically I'm stuck. I need help being able to transition from sleep paralysis to being lucid and staying in a dream.
