You will experience sleep paralysis (SP). It's a unique sensation that varies for different people, but generally feels like a lead blanket is being pulled over you, and you get all tingly. Some people feel like they're falling through the bed. I don't know how you will experience it, but you'll definitely know when it happens.

There's a transition period from SP to HI usually, and you sometimes you'll have to wait a while for it to kick in. This is what launches you into the dream, and you have to stay consciously awake for it, otherwise you'll lose awareness and fall asleep normally.

What is "HI"? I have a SP soon as my body falls asleep, in other words, during non-REM 1? I heard it has 3 phases of non-REM.
Sorry for bad english, isn't my native language.
