      What happens to me:

      - It feels like I'm headbanging really fast, even though I know I'm still.
      - Sometimes I spin really fast, and when it starts slowing down, the dream is formed around me.

The other option is, the feelings from the paralysis go away and I'm laying on my bed, and that's a false awakening. Just do a reality check and enjoy.

If the second option happens to you, and you wake up on the dark, trying to turn on the light will fail (light switches don't work in dreams). The darkness has already scared me once (I wasn't aware it was a dream, that was one tough nightmare.)

Feeling the eye move is natural, and you don't actually need to wait 90 min to get a REM again. In Laberge's book, he says that as you sleep more and more, the intervals between REM are shorter, and they also get longer (about 30-40 min tops). I have never got such a long dream tho, my lucids last about 5 min no matter what time I get them.
