Whenever I'm anywhere other than a bed, hypnagogic imagery comes to me easily. I've noticed this in the car when I'm sleeping during a car ride. It happens to me almost every day when I get into a class where the lights are out and I have a boring lecture. Once I hit the desk, I'm in a half-sleep state where I'm almost totally unable to keep my eyes open. I finally succumb and let myself fall asleep (sort of) and I can hear people around me but I am fully engrossed in my hypnogogia. |

[Insert cool picture/quote about dreams/dream goals here]
Well, what I've heard about this sort of thing, is that you are more relaxed when you're in a setting you're used to sleeping in. when you're in a different location, your mind is more alert, causing you to be slightly more conscious when asleep/ falling asleep. If you practice enough, WILDing will come to you. I suggest practicing meditation, because that will help you a lot. |
