I just recently started to read up on lucid dreaming about a month ago, and right away was interested (because i've had a few when i was younger) so i started writing down my dreams and doing reality checks, i herd about WILD but never practiced it.
So the first time i had a WILD I came home from a party the next morning, went to bed and started to see things and then herd this girl scream, i knew this was part of it so i just relaxed and a minute or two later i walked out of my body, proceded to the kitchen and started to do multiple flips in the air. Now everytime i try to WILD, once i start to see the hallucinations ill notice them then lose them, im afraid I can't keep focused anymore due to excitement.
After my first WILD i almost had another one a week later, also the next morning after coming home from a party. Before i laid down i listened to "The wind crys marry" by Jimmie Hendrix and read up on lucid dreaming. I didnt have many visuals as i was laying down still, but not to later after i laid down, the song i was listening to 20 minutes earlier was all i can hear, but it had different words but sounded beautiful. I then crawled out of my body but all i saw was black, disapointed i woke myself up. Later to realise my dream eyes were probably just closed and all i needed to do was open em.
Does anyone have any tips that will help me go with the flow and not lose focus everytime an image or sound pops up in my head? Right when i see something it disapears, i try to count my breathe, try to imagine my self elsewhere, i just can't get threw it. I try keeping my mind as clear as could be, any tips would be gladly appreciated :]
