      Nearly had a WILD? Question.

So i tried KingYoshi's Wild Technique. And i'm pretty certain it kicked in SleepParalysis.
I set my alarm 6 hours after falling asleep. When i woke up, i looked on the technique for a bit on this website and then tried performing it.

Within about a minute or so while doing it i felt a huge rush go over my body and my heart started beating all of a sudden really fast within about 2 seconds! I had tingling sensations and a heaviness and warmth.

From then on, it just stayed the same. I waited a few minutes before switching positions whilst still closing my eyes but i still couldn't get the full transition.

I'm pretty certain this technique will always work for me to kick in SP. It's just getting on the other side i need help with. Any help and suggestions would be very appreciated. I experienced no HI by the way. And i'm pretty certain it was not a full on SP... i felt as if i could move if i wanted to but i didn't want to disturb the attempt of trying to WILD!.

Side Note: There was a lot of noises outside that may have distracted me perhaps?

      Thank you.

I'm pretty sure once you get SP you aren't meant to change positions. The noises wouldn't have helped. Just wait longer I suppose. It will come.
      Attempting WILD: 0

Have achieved SP with mild HI previously, haven't attempted much in the past.

The problem might have been that you were too excited to fall asleep, if your heart was beating rapidly. Happens to me sometimes, when I'm close to a lucid state but not quite asleep. Looks like you got close though, with the tingling and whatnot. With practice and a calmer state of mind you'll be well on your way. It's just that you actually have to fall asleep to dream.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, i think i got a plan and a good mindset to achieve a lucid this time round. I'm just going to try not to focus on the process of SP as much as i did. I guess i got too overwhelmed.

(Assuming you are new to WILD)
Newbies underestimate how much they still need to relax once into SP - Relax, but keep aware. Not really sure how I can describe this. Keep WILDing and learn from your experiences - if you have a detailed question, try PMing Mancon - He WILDs at least once everynight Good luck~
