Hiya! This is my first post but I've been practicing LD before. This time I want to try and keep it up, for real, and my membership here marks the start of efforts.

Tonight I did a WILD - was really hard to fall asleep at first but I did it - once in the dream I was on the verge of falling into unconsciousness all the time. At one moment I kept it up by noticing how people's feet were stumped and not like feet should look like. So I changed them to normal by willpower, but they kept plopping back.

Somewhere I lost myself because I remembered when I woke up that I ended in a place which was not intended, and I must've been very carried away by the desired surrounding I made up for myself as I was WILD-ing, and which I in fact fell into... in the beginning of the dream.

Two questions arose from this experience.

1) Did I undergo real LD, or did I just "dream" about lucid dreaming, and thus fooled myself?

2) How do I prevent to be way too carried away by my own lucid dreaming? Is this an issue of high awareness and vividity?
