      Am I nearly there?

Hello everyone, I'm quite new to WILDing although I do have frequent lucid dreams from DILDing (5 in the last week ) I would like to be able to achieve an LD every night. When I first heard of it I thought WILD was perfect for me and on my first try I got it to work! However, since then I have only been able to get my feet slightly 'paralysed'. By this I mean that I feel a slight heavy feeling below my shins about 5-6 mins after starting an attempt however I can quite easily break it, but I cannot progress from there.. I have learnt to control my swallow reflex and I have my whole body rested but no more of of my body begins to feel a weight upon even after waiting for what feels like hours. Am I doing something wrong? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, wow congrats on the awesome lucid streak!

I think you should continue what you are doing, and focus less on the physicals. WILD is more on the mental aspect of things, so if you keep focusing on the physical sensations, you'll only get caught up in them.

Just focus on your awareness and maintaining it, and the rest will come. Good luck!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Hi, thanks for the reply and the advice, Ill take it on board. However, I think by starting with an attempted WILD I may be making myself think of LD'ing as I fall asleep? As last night I had another 'failed' wild attempt but I have just woken up from yet another lucid dream. But I think I will now get less worked up that I'm unable to WILD or DEILD, ty. I guess I need to ride out my luck
