      Question about WILD

I have built up enough confidence to attempt a proper wild. I also have noticed that i wake up everyday at 2:50 am right after a dream. Now i know when to attempt a wild. I have tried wilding before with no success, i would always get so impatient, i would be able to reach the stage where i see light patterns beneath my eyelids, i couldn't get any further than that, so i stopped trying. I have only experienced hallucinations once but it was unintentional. I have felt vibrations but that was also unintentional and a long tome ago ( couple months ) .
My question is , how long on average does it take to get the hallucinations. I understand that you have be close to your rem cycle for them to come. But if i try at the right time and i stay relaxed how long would it take to start experiencing the HH?

That differs from person to person.

But when you reach the light patterns or other HH, you are close. Be patient little longer and wait it out.

My experience in a successful WILD:

From awake (but sufficiently tired/groggy) to being in a dream: 10-15 minutes
From vibrations to being in a dream: a few seconds
