      Question about last night

Okay so yesterday I started reading all about lucid dreaming and dreams, wild, dild, dield, dream recall and all that stuff,I got really into it.
So at night I tried wild and it didnt work for quite some time,so I gave up and just went to sleep normally. What changed this night from most nights is that I remembered like 4 dreams I had.each one.and I woke up each time after a dream ended. Is that normal ? In the first dream I was in the park,I did know I was dreaming, but somehow it wasnt lucid(lets say I did stuff to girls I would'nt do in real life lol) 5 seconds before the end of this dream,a man,I didnt see how he looked was yelling at me : FIVE ... FOUR ... THREE ... TWO ... ONE ... BAM. I woke up.It was really weird. I tried WILDing after each time I woke up from a dream and it didnt work.Kind of frustrating.
From today on I am doing few times a day reality checks and before sleep when inhaling i will say "i control" when exhaling "my dreams".hope it helps.

WILD generally will not work unless it is attempted after one has already had several hours of sleep, and even then there is no guarantee of course. I usually try to WILD if I wake up at least 2 hours before my scheduled wake up for good time. I did have a successful WILD also during an afternoon nap, so naps are another good option.

As for waking up after each dream and remembering it. That's normal, and is not necessarily related to your WILD attempts, although I bet the WILD attempt sent a message to part of your brain that dreams are important to you, and so that's why you remembered more of them. We actually naturally wake up to some extent after every dream, every 1.5 or 2 hours or so every night. On most nights we just think nothing of it, turn over, and fall back to sleep, and in the morning we have no memory of the waking up. One can through sheer intension ad strong will decide to wake up fully enough after every dream to write it down, and I have done that on occasion. It's a fun exercise and good for dream recall.

Trying to WILD at the beginning of the night will probably not result in a successful WILD, but personally I think it may still be worth it because if you fall asleep with the intension to lucid dream, that's always good.

Don't be frustrated and discouraged. You are progressing well!

And as Scionox noticed before I did: this was a lucid, if you knew you were dreaming, so congrats! In some lucid dreams our awareness is not high enough to refrain from doing things we wouldn't do if more aware. May your next lucid be more aware and more fun for you.

You may say I'm a dreamer.

If you were aware that you were dreaming, you were lucid, on low awareness lucid dreams is not uncommon to not have full waking memory or even have different personality, though if you feel like you weren't really aware then it could have been non-lucid dream about lucid dreaming actions, either way, congrats on progress!
As for remembering dreams, it's quite normal, WILD practice often increases awareness and increased awareness often gives better recall, as for waking up, we all wake up after each dream, but it just happens so briefly that we don't notice it unless our awareness is high enough.
Also, do you WILD after some hours of sleep or when going to sleep normally, i highly suggest doing it after few hours of sleep in WBTB since the rate of success on WILDing when going to sleep normally is very low, especially if you are just starting out. Also check out this tutorial: WILD
Reality checks are also good, just be sure not to do them on auto. Do actually question reality and put emotions into them, also do you have dream journal? If not, be sure to start one. Also check out this thread: http://www.dreamviews.com/dild/13212...ods-dilds.html
