      Trouble Attaining Lucidity; WILD

I am, and have been for a while, working on WILD. I have had semi-successful success, but not where I need it to be.
My main routine is to listen to hypnotic lucid dreaming videos for a lady called Jody Whiteley. My concern isn't that the hypnosis isn't working, because I am easily hypnotized, but that one I enter a dream I can't achieve lucidity.

While listening to the audio, I lay completely still, eyes closed and focus on releasing all tension from my body and my breathing. Eventually, I achieve hynagogia, first with swirlies, then with the hallucinations. Every time I start to dream, after what feels like a few seconds or minutes I realized that I am dreaming and wake up instantly. This happens maybe 5x in the span of 3 hours. At one point during the night I had a dream that me and my aunts walked into a mansion (I don't live in a mansion) and one of my aunts had an umbrella IN THE HOUSE! Then the wind blew the doors open and pulled the umbrella out the door parachute style with my aunt attached. The hilarious part is, I remember asking myself if I was dreaming, and after all that happened I remember thinking "nope, I'm not dreaming". LoL, like that was normal. I woke up instantly after telling myself that it was real, and was like "holy sh*t" and then nearbout died laughing at myself for thinking it was real.

I do not dream journal, neither am I anal about doing reality checks. I have never had a problem with dream recall. As long as I remember to think of my dreams before I move or try to DEILD. If I am lucid in the dream, the recall is incredibly vivid.
After I get that feeling that I gonna go to sleep, what can I do to stay lucid?

Also, after a few times of trying a failing these techniques, I eventually have trouble going back to sleep. Tonight I went to bed at 9pm trying to get an early start, but by 1am I had failed like 10x and I was literally unable to go back to sleep. I just wasn't tired anymore. It is really hard to sit still and concentrate if you aren't tired, my body does everything in its power to make me move.
