for me, the dream doesn't always start. If it doesn't, I'll start visualizing the dream scene once I know that the SP has nearly finished, and things are still completely black. Sometimes the scene will form automatically, and I'll be in my room, like a false awaking. oh, and I'm glad you're making progress. keep it up.

when i tried, i just "pretended" to open my eyes (just think you are opening them, what it feels like etc, without actually opening your eyes) and from a blur, what i saw turned into a dream.

Usually a dream just forms, like visualisations get solid. More than once I crawl into a dark red tunnel and enter a dream.

However, sometimes SP waves through me and I'm in this black void, no dreams or visions. I was confused too about what to do, but I read somewhere that you should imagine you're getting up (or opening your eyes) in between the SP waves. I tried it and whenever this void state occurs I end up in my room, flying out of the window

btw: an average of 1 WILD a week.

I also heard that once your in sleep paralysis to visualize the room you're in, and youself waking up in it. Then once you do that, perform a reality check. Now I cannot really affirm this, as I have yet to do it, so if anyone else has done it, they can validate.

Also, to people who have done this, when you picture yourself waking up in SP, and have a false awakening, are you more aware than in DILDs, then able to perform a reality check already knowing you're asleep? Because my "dream-self" is oblivious to the mental world of my mind asleep.
