      Exclamation Help please!

I just got finished trying a WILD. I found that my main problem was with breathing. Even though i tried to change to "internal focus", i couldnt help but control my breathing. And because of that, I kept breathing too fast or slow, then hyperventillating and losing my internal focus.

So, Question #1: What is a good way to get your mind off breathing?

Question #2: What are some good ways to get to "internal focus".

And Question #3: what visualization techniques do you (whoever is reading this) find best for WILDing.

the more replies the better, so please don't not reply because you see that someone else has.

I find it easiest to WILD while daytime napping.

I concentrate on laying still and ignoring the body's impulses to scratch and shift etc... I don't worry about breathing or whether I'm swallowing or not. I find my body will turn off while my mind is awake whether I swallow or not.

If I find my mind is wanting to fall asleep I concentrate on counting.

I don't worry about visualisation... I just have a goal for once it "all starts"... like the task of the month for example...

I just wait for whatever happens to happen...

The biggest flop for me has been the false awakenings... I have had more false awakenings through WILDING than any other technique. So don't forget to RC if you think you failed and have woken up... because you may not have failed, you may be dreaming!

PS: Sometimes we concentrate so darn hard on the technique of relaxation and breathing that we are not at all relaxed! Just ignore the body and stay awake... let the body relax... and stay awake mentally... gently...

Lucid Dream Goal: Give a dream character a flower and jump off the Sky Tower.

Recorded Lucids since joining: 3 DILD, 1 WILD
I often have other lucids that I forget or that I don't record for whatever reason.
Lucid Tasks Completed: 2 Basic (but one was a month too late)
