      Sleep Paralysis with eyes open

      Hey everyone!
I've been trying to WILD for a while, but now I feel like I'm finally getting somewhere, except I'm stuck. The last 3 times I tried to WILD I felt Sleep Paralysis come and go... my body got all numb and I felt this weight and my heart pounded, but then it was all gone. The last two times my heart didn't pound, but I felt the SP numbness come and go too, but more than twice this time. And this last time I tried to WILD while going for a nap and had a weird SP: my whole body got numb, but I was incredibly calm, my heart didn't pound. I tried moving my limbs but had this strange sensation all over my body and I tried lifting my hands and it felt like they were floating, but they didn't move. The only problem was I wasn't experiencing any audio hallucination or HI, but I couldn't move my body so I knew it was definitely Sleep Paralysis. But now I was stuck, how was I supposed to go into a dream? I tried visualizing passively for images, but my eyelids started sort of shaking and opening a little bit on their own. Thoughts started rushing through my minds and I tried to pictures scenes to no avail, but I was decided no to give up. Then, after a while trying to visualize anything, even abstract geometry and getting nothing, I thought: maybe I'm already in a dream and this is the void! So I opened my eyes only to see my room's ceiling. I still felt paralysis all over, and was not going to risk doing a reality check and losing my SP. I closed my eyes again, trying to visualize things but still nothing. Maybe I was in a dream where this was all happening? Should I risk an RC? Suddenly my cellphone rang, which took me out of SP and I immediately did the nose plug RC only to realize I wasn't dreaming.

So what's up with that? I didn't get audio hallucinations, nor HI, but still was in Sleep Paralysis (and was able to open my eyes). What should I do from this spot to get lucid?

Going to try WBTB tonight (again), hope it works

So close! You were there! Try to create the sensation of rocking back and forth. Get a good rhythm going, then roll right out of your paralyzed body. When you are in this state, you are pretty much already in a dream. You just need to transition fully.

I also have luck imagining doing something familiar and tactile. Something involving movement or touch, such as running in a familiar place, or touching familiar objects. It helps move my attention away from my body lying in bed, and into a new scene.

Going to try the rocking back and forth technique if I get stuck again, but the thing is I was in SP but didn't really feel like I was any close to a dream state, you know?
      Thanks for the advice
