Try to daydream a little. Try a VILD, maybe. Don't focus too much on the counting. |

I've been trying this technique http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=9806 i think its a standard WILD but I am not sure about the counting part |

Bollocks.
The counting works wonders for me, I can't make this technique work unless I count. I'll usually get to about 30 before my body starts to fall asleep. I think the key is not letting any random thoughts enter your mind, the counting should be the only thing going on in your head. This is not easy, but you will get better over time as long as you stick with it. |

thanks for your advice guys i think ill try to focus completely on the counting because i think i generally have a bit of a hard time focusing on stuff in RL let alone when im trying to sleep |

These are basically different WILD techniques. In this counting method, you are supposed to just keep your mind busy with mental tasks until you realize you're dreaming. |

so I tried the counting thing again, actually wanted to try but i always wanted to wait until i started to get at least a couple of random thoughts first so i wouldnt have to count to like 200-300 but in doing that i think i did a HIT actually twice because i was just trying to relax and when I got some visual halucinations i just observed them for a bit and they gradually got more ,,deep,, and i realized i could move without actualy moving in my bed, so it was hello LD |
