      My first WILD!!

so i haven't been here since last year, nor have i actively pursued learning how to LD since then, but last night I had my first LD and it was a WILD (VILD if you want to get technical). As I remember (my dream recall is a little weak... note i've never had a DILD), i had awoken from a previous dream to my alarm clock about 5 hours into my sleep. I decided to try to WILD so I closed my eyes and focused intensely on breathing. It didn't take very long since I had already been sleeping and I felt the sleep paralysis (thats a crazy feeling). I tried to visualize my room since I had just read about false awakenings being common in WILDs and succeeded. It came into view. I did a few reality checks (i must have had a million fingers and my voice sounded very echoic) and it was pretty obvious. I went downstairs and my dad was there. I told him I was dreaming. He said that was cool and asked if that was why my car wasn't parked outside. I said yeah and went outside only to notice that all three of our cars were missing. it was strange because i just kinda shifted back to reality and woke but whtatev. it was sick
      Goals:
Change scenery at will ( )
Play at least a few levels of Deus Ex ( )
And of course... LD AT WILL!!!

May the spirit of the god-head shine through me always

Nice WILD. Now that you know what works for you, you should be able to do it again. They should last longer as you get used to the wierd feeling. Watch out for false wakeups after your WILDS, also. Do a reality check whenever you wake from a lucid dream. It may feel like you woke up prematurely, but you could just be dreaming you woke up.
