      WILD Question

Last night I attempted a WILD for the first time. I didn't succeed in having a dream, I moved and stuffed everything up.
But anyway, before I messed up, I just want to know if I was doing the right thing and if I was on the right track.
      What happened was this:
I woke up at 3:30 after around 5 hours of sleep. I stretched and stayed up for a few minutes. Went back to bed and got in a comfortable position and stayed as still as possible. I dont know how long I was still though. Then after some time my arms, legs, hands and feet started to feel weird. It was almost like a prickle and then every now and then either an arm or leg or both would twitch slightly. I was keeping my count going (1, I am dreaming. 2, I am dreaming etc.) and let myself drift slightly. Then I felt a sort of light heavy dizziness? I dont know. It is difficult to explain. Anyway, it happened twice. After the first time I was completely awake and conscious and my heart was hammering, though then the feeling faded and went back to the numbness of my limbs. My hands were folded over one another, but at one point it felt like both my hands were out stretched, in a different position, and both were numb. After some time I let myself drift abit to far, though I was still conscious. It was all a blur really. I think that maybe I was slipping into a non-lucid dream, when I felt the lighy dizzy heaviness again and this time it was much stronger. Everything felt clear. A minute or two later I saw light blue colours with the black of my closed eyes. Only for a moment though because as soon as I focused on them my eyes started to flutter and I couldn't keep them closed. I had an impulse to open my eyes. Though the blue was kind in like a moving diagonal, fading pattern.
Lastly, just after that, I moved and well, messed everything up.
Though, so far, are these some of the signs of me going into sleep paralysis?
Am I on the right track considering it was my first time?
Any overall advice to accomplishing a WILD?

      Thanks!

O.o that good for a first try, I was no where near that on my first try. You were actually pretty close, the heavy dizziness means that your almost into SP, next time so you don't move your eyes focus all your feeling on some body part, I recently got my first WILD by focusing on my one finger so the HI wouldn't distract my eyes and make me want to move them. And I get that prickly sensation a lot to when I try to WILD.
