      would this help i wonder

you know how when you are really tired, but you really dont want to fall asleep, and your eyes start to close by themselves and when you open them it gets kinda fuzzy for a bit. and you start to nod your head and then keep yourself awake.

well, would being in this state help to WILD? and should i maybe stay up for like 2 or 3 days with no sleep, and on the 3rd night try and WILD while in this state?

hmm I think staying up for 2-3 days (if you can make it), you would just fall right asleep on the 3rd day. im relatively new to WILDing, but the time i actually got into sp and had a dream forming, was on a day that i had about 5 hours of sleep. by the afternoon my body was physically worn out after being out all day and i laid on the couch to nap. out of nowhere i realized my body was asleep and i was on my way to a dream. so i would suggest doing just a WBTB, or gettin about 4-6 hours of sleep, then try doing it during an afternoon nap. and when i did it i saw no HI or anything so dont think about HI or SP and it will happen naturally if you just keep your logical mind open.

if you stay up for at least 72 hours you will start hallucinating because of the sleep depravation. its actually quite crazy haha

Could thoso hallucinations be turned into a dream like sp?

Also, I'm really tired right now, so I lay down and I got flung right into a dream. This suggests that what I'm talking about works, because I was in the state I ws describing, and I must have got REM straight away. If only I knew that would have happened, I would have tryed to keep my mind awake.

And the reason I said 2 to 3 days was because it would guarantee me getting into that state, but now I know that long isn't required. So basically the plan now is to stay awake until that state comes

I did that for an experiment once, stayed up for 83 hours I think. No hallucinations though. Although everything starts to become "sharper" in your vision, sounds more tinny, and everything becomes more irritating. I wanna try it again some day and go for some hallucinations
      good times

wait, sharper vision? when im just a little bit sleep deprived, my vision becomes blurry when i sit still.

and ive now got two goals: first is staying awake till i get to the state i want. second would be staying awake till hallucinations.

Same here, but I was awake about 100 hours. After that things got a little crazy. I saw a spot on the sidewalk and thought it was a large bug crawling. A second look, it was just a flat stain.

I can't say your vision becomes sharper, but flat things tend to take on a 3d characteristic, and after a while seems to move, crawl or wiggle.

I don't advise going without sleep for 100 hours. It's not a very healthy thing to do, and probably won't help attaining lucidity one bit

You talk to vacuum cleaners and safes, you've had apple trees growing in your living room, tigers and horses in your dining room, an elephant in your bedroom. I've seen you locked in a jail in the middle of your living room and once someone swore they saw you floating in mid-air! How do you explain that, Major Nelson!?
