Im new to this, how exactly?

Well i read jeffs guide on how to trick the body into going into sleep. Havent tried it yet but i want to clear things up

      1. Get in a comfortable position and dont move for about 20 mins
-But, since your closing your eyes how do you know 20 mins lol. Also do i just stare into the darkness or what am i aloud to think. what do i do .

      2. Wave comes and Dont move when it tells you too
      ok...

      3. Your mind is seperate from body and you gotta wait for a dream...

-Soo what will it feel like? I cant move or something? And what do i do when the mind is seperate from the body.

And how will i know when im actually enter a dream instead of staring into darkness i will see a image and be able to interact. Someone told me to write the word "Dream" right on my hand. When your in a LD you can look at your hand and if it doesnt say Dream you will know your in one. I can do this right?

      Thanks everyone

Twenty minutes is an assumed estimate. Sometimes it takes much shorter or longer. Generally once your body/conscious-mind gets used to it, it will become easier.
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

Ok thats one question down. What am i suppose to think about when i am trying to enter sleep paralysis and my eyes are closed and am perfectly still.

What exactly happens right after your body goes to sleep ? Your dream comes?

If you drift with thoughts (let them carry you away), you will probably go to sleep in a non-lucid state.
Just watch your body (internally), or focus on something. You can create an imaginary light and just focus on it if you want to.

After your body goes to sleep you won't necessarily just fall into a dream. You can imagine your environment if you want, and then you can fall into it, or really whatever you want. It's not the hard part.

The hard part and main point is to not move, so just don't do it!

Try to not think about anything...Try to not focus in nothing...

      Just observes...

Don't think about WILDING, don't think about how the dream will be or you wont fall asleep...

When you not think about it and just stare at the darkness and emptyness, soon you will fall asleep half-counscious and you will got fully aware in the end of transition [maybe while the transition, or only when you reach the dream state, it don't care at all]...

I hope that it will help u man good luck for u
