Nearly missed a sneaky lucid dream!

I woke up in the middle of the night last night and decided to WILD. But, remembering something I read about it being easier to dream when you haven't opened your eyes yet, I kept them tightly shut. HI started instantly, of which I was both fully consious and fully calm. I witnessed the transition, though feeling next to nothing. I appeared in a dream.

      But I wasn't lucid.

In this dream, I got out of bed, took the drapes down and went back to sleep thinking, 'Maybe NOW I can have a lucid dream!'

Just as the scene changed, I realized taking down the drapes was a REALLY stupid thing to do. I HAD to be dreaming.

I woke up in a dream and did a victory dance.

I accomplished quite a bit. I saw my dream guide (a coyote named Tip) for the second time and practiced telekinesis. I failed at making quite a few things appear, but I DID succeed in making Tip's ears grow bigger, and I did manage to fly about ten feet in the air before plummeting back to ground.

I'm still having difficulty controlling my dreams. Help!

      Well done.

I really enjoy catching FA's or indeed the sudden realisation that you are dreaming.
You feel clever for having worked it out.

I now have spontaneous dilds on a fairly regular basis.
      Seems does practice makes perfect.

Thanks, Elucive! Yes, it feels WONDERFUL! Now, all I have to do in order to become the lucid dreamer of, well, my dreams is to learn how to control everyone and everything in them! And learn how to WILD at the beginning of the night, but hey, it's mattering less and less to me.

The vast majority of my dreams are DILDs.
I believe that the more you "experience" and are aware of your dreams,
the more inevitable it becomes that your going to realise somethings going on.

In that respect, the dream journel really is your best friend.
