      Getting Into SP

Ok. This morning, I attempted to WILD again. I am very good at staying still and not moving and being very relaxed. That's no problem for me. The only thing I do have a problem with, is getting into SP.

I'm a almost certainly positive, it is because, I don't know what to think of, while staying still. Like, my mind wanders off to complete nonsense. Things that have nothing to do with dreaming.

What are some key things that I can keep an active thought on, without being to concentrated?

Like do I think, "Ok, I'm dreaming, I'm drifting off into SP. I'm going to hallucinate." Like what do I think of!?

I'm positive this was the only thing that stopped me from WILDing this morning.

      Please! More tips!

I can't answer right away, because I'm just getting ready for school. So don't lose interest in this if I don't respond right away!

Ok. Count breaths. Is there anything else I can do?

I'm having the exact same thing. Sometimes I'll just stay awake for an hour counting breaths into the 1000s, other times I'll drift and fall asleep. How do I get that right amount of awareness that keeps me focused but not so "in the zone" enough to stay awake for hours?

Ok, so am I supposed to count my breaths?

Also, what do I think of, do I think like, "I am asleep. I am asleep."? I believe this is the only thing that is preventing me from my first LD and I would really appreciate if someone would answer this!

And what do I think when in SP?

you dont think of anything except the thing that you where thinking of, not even im awake or im asleep, or so ive heard. just acnoledge that you are undergoing SP and the stuff you are feeling is "weird". eventualy you will be dreaming and you will be fully alert.
