Have around 1hr and 30mins to nap. Best way to LD?

Well I guess it's all in the title up there! I'd really like to have some LDs during naps but I don't seem able to trigger them with WILD. Is 1 hr and a half enough to LD?
Which is the most efficient technique for naps?
Should I set an alarm at around minute 40 to keep my mind awake?

Since it is a nap, it shouldn't take too long to hit SP during normal sleep. I think an hour and a half is plenty of time for you to DILD/MILD. If you want to go the path of a DILD/MILD, go to sleep expecting to succeed in having a LD. Get in the mindset that you know, 100% fact, that you will succeed. Alot of times, this confidence alone can help you become lucid. You can also try thinking, "The next time I am anywhere but this bed, I will be dreaming." Good Luck in your nap!

I may be mistaken, but doesn't someone generally enter later stages of sleep quicker in a nap? An hour and a half may be a very generous amount of time.

Here is what I suggest: Find out how you nap.

Set an alarm for... Let's say twenty minutes from the time you expect to have fallen asleep. Then, record if you remember anything. Add ten minutes, and do it again. (I suggest you don't do this all in one day, but at the same time every day for a few days.) Once you have narrowed it down to a time when you seem to be in REM more often (most dreams recorded) you can nap just that amount, or wake up just before that time, and try to WILD into it.
      Bollocks.

Delphinus have you napped after the 1-5 hrs after you woke up and still LD? I often get up at around 9.30AM and have time to nap only at around 4.30PM or so.

I have before, as well have many others I'm sure. The 1-5 hour mark is more of a target time for optimal WILDing. It is, of course, possible to WILD outside of this time frame. Just remember that the longer you wait (after waking), the harder it will become to WILD successfully. Play around with your nap time a bit and see what works best for you.
