Smile Any tips for my first WILD attempt?

Hi! Im kinda new here (went inactive last summer) but i got back into Dreamviews and lucid dreaming in general. I have tried other techniques to LD but none have worked. I really want to LD and i think WILD will be the easiest to do for me. Any tips for my first attempt?

Use the WILD technique with WBTB and it is much more effective.

If you have never conciously experience sleep paralysis before do not let it freak you out if you experience hallucinations. While I had experienced it upon waking for many years and it scared me, I had never actually tried to induce it and during my first WILD attempt I let the hallucinations freak me out and I broke off my attempt. So keep a cool head and know what to expect and you will be fine. Also, just be patient It can take awhile and if you are not practiced in keeping still for a long time it can be tempting to move when you get uncomfortable. Good luck!

Yoshi's technique seems to work better for a lot of people than the other techniques of WILD do.

Just so you don't get stuck on the same thing as I did for ages, you can swallow if you make it completely natural and don't think about it but if you can go for a long time without swallowing then that might be better.

Try not to be too early or late in the transitioning stage. Try and open your eyes when whatever is happening to you in the transition is at it's greatest.

As hermes said, if you can, use WBTB at the same time or you have to wait a long time for a bad LD.

      Good luck!
