How late is too late to WILD?

      Whatup dreamers

So, I'm pretty stoked... I had two successful DIELDs last night. I tried to follow it up this morning with a WILD.

      I tried at 9:00.

I had already slept for 11.5 hours (lol) but I was really hoping I'd be able to achieve some success.

However, although I got REALLY close (numbness and oneness of all body parts, faint vibrations, chest got tight as breathing became involuntary) I eventually gave up after I counted about 550 breaths. That took about an hour.

So my question is, was I too well rested to WILD?
I feel like I'm gonna get a lot of "no shit, dumb ass" responses but I just want to make sure

The idea of getting into a WILD, is to be calm, relaxed, and not focused. If you were too focused on getting a WILD, that might be why it didn't work. Also, if there was light coming into the room, I heard that also makes it harder to WILD. I think, that as long as you are not too awake and conscious of what you are doing, then you can WILD successfully.

Personally, I have the best WILD success after 6-8 hours of sleep. However, I usually won't succeed any point after the 10 hour mark.

You're probably right in assuming you were too "well rested" to WILD. 11 hours is a long time to sleep for just about anyone, really. . .
