Will this cause SP or WILD?

I was listening to a tape to help w/ lucidity or w/e. It wasn't anything that bad, it just talked about imagery and then had this ten point relax system as rain went in the background. I could slowly feel my limbs go numb after a while, as though they couldn't move. My mind was wandering but I kept on moving my fingers and legs, just to check if I could. After a while my legs did some big random flop into the air and felt like they were pulsating - it creeped me out heaps.

After a while my body was getting number, but I was just too scared that a numb body meant I'd become paralyzed and still aware of what's going on. I stopped it after half an hour - when I went to bed I was exhausted, but now I feel wide awake. It's 4:40am, and half of my face is half asleep and numb :/

During I thought I could hear some brief vibration noises, but that could've been background noise/me been paranoid. I also felt kind of like I'd fall through my bed at some point, but again, that could've been nervousness/paranoia. My limps felt like something was going through them at one point.

I have something to ask; when you feel your body go numb and are aware of it, does that mean you start to WILD/go into SP? Because that's something I'd REALLY like to avoid.

      TY for any help

Everybody is a little different, so your results may vary. I get the numbness when I am extremely relaxed, even when just meditating. I don't feel I am in sleep paralysis at that point because it is too easy for me to break out of it.

Don't be so concerned about SP, it's a normal natural thing. Most of the time, I'm not even aware of SP because I am well into HI at that point and on the verge of dream state.

IK i'm been stupid about it, but I've been around people having SP a few time and it looks fucking terrifying. A few months when I was staying at a hotel w/ my mother she got it, and she was trying to call out for jesus and crap and looked terrified. I thought she was just sleep-talking at the time, but she told me about it later when I mentioned SP and said what she saw was just awful.

IDK, it was easy enough for me to move my limbs. I just scare easy.

Did she realize that it was SP? Most people that are not into dreaming, especially lucid dreaming are scared to death when it happens. You on the other hand know exactly what is happening. I encourage to to embrace and experiment with it, it's really quite neat!

IDK, I think she did know. It is good that I know what it is, but nonetheless if I saw anything scary I probably wouldn't be able to sleep for a week, lol.

I suppose the only way to get rid of fear is to face it tho =/

I understand the fear, I tried WILD for the first time last night, and I get scared easily. Right when i got the vibrations I freaked out, but now I see it's all in my head, and I'm excited to try again. I guess what I'm trying to say is you need to try it for yourself, and keep telling yourself it's all in your head. I'm not saying it's easy, because I'm still a little afraid of it, but atleast try it.

Also, I think SP that bad is rare, some people don't feel SP at all. Everyone is different, and everyone has different SP experiences.
