Everybody is a little different, so your results may vary. I get the numbness when I am extremely relaxed, even when just meditating. I don't feel I am in sleep paralysis at that point because it is too easy for me to break out of it. |

I was listening to a tape to help w/ lucidity or w/e. It wasn't anything that bad, it just talked about imagery and then had this ten point relax system as rain went in the background. I could slowly feel my limbs go numb after a while, as though they couldn't move. My mind was wandering but I kept on moving my fingers and legs, just to check if I could. After a while my legs did some big random flop into the air and felt like they were pulsating - it creeped me out heaps. |

IK i'm been stupid about it, but I've been around people having SP a few time and it looks fucking terrifying. A few months when I was staying at a hotel w/ my mother she got it, and she was trying to call out for jesus and crap and looked terrified. I thought she was just sleep-talking at the time, but she told me about it later when I mentioned SP and said what she saw was just awful. |

I understand the fear, I tried WILD for the first time last night, and I get scared easily. Right when i got the vibrations I freaked out, but now I see it's all in my head, and I'm excited to try again. I guess what I'm trying to say is you need to try it for yourself, and keep telling yourself it's all in your head. I'm not saying it's easy, because I'm still a little afraid of it, but atleast try it. |
