      breathing

When trying to enter SP I keep being stopped by the fact that my stomach is moving up and down(sometimes known as breathing) and when I start to enter SP my breathing goes strange and it makes me move about to much.

      Please Help.

I'm not sure what you mean by strange. When i've done WILD and gone into SP, it feels like there is a lead blanket over my body. It kind of feels like it is hard to breathe because of the pressure. I've gotten used to it now. I just remind myself that my breathing is not really being hindered and that it is just a hallucination. Is that the kind of feeling you're talking about?

No, it's that when I feel my the pressure is making it hard to breathe I end up taking a massive breathe so that the rest of my body loses paralysis. I've tried not to but it's like a reflex.

Sometimes, when I breathe a bit shallower than I usually do ("sleep" breathing), I have this urge to take a deep breath. It's happened to me a few times, but only once when I was actually in SP. Is that what you mean?
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

      Yeah. It's really annoying.

That's what i meant. I think you explained it better. I don't really have a solution other than to keep trying. In time, i think that you'll get used to it. It feels like your not breathing deeply enough. When it starts to happen, just keep reminding yourself that you really are breathing sufficiently. It happens every night; the only difference is that you are aware of it happening this time. The only other thing i can say is to try to keep your breathing consistent and try not to get too excited. I know that's easier said than done, but you'll get the hang of it. Just keep trying and good luck.

I've noticed that too, with the stomach moving during a WILD attempt. It seems to me that it messes up SP, but that's only SP for the stomach. I've gotten it in my arms and legs, but my stomach was moving due to my breathing. What I did was start to fall asleep and completely forget about LDing. When I caught myself a few minutes later, my upper chest was starting to feel like SP but my lower chest and stomach were not.

I haven't been able to completely beat this, but maybe what I did can help you in some way.
