Question Beginner wanting to try WILD

First off, I have never "made" myself have an LD before. I am working on recall still, as my ability has lowered significantly even though I am only in high school. Anyway, I was wondering if it would necessarily be bad to try a WILD even though I am a beginner. I know what to expect, and I am sure I can handle it so don't tell me I can't. I just want to know if I should start with other techniques first. I am very interested in psychology, an I am also going to try and mix a WILD with WBTB, DILD, and some other little tips I have found.

      Thanks and happy LD-ing!

The only thing I am going to say is this. If you do end up successfully WILDing, you might not remember it, and that would really suck! Other than that, I don't think starting with another technique is necessary. There isn't a pre-requisite for techniques. (Not the basic ones anyways) So I encourage you to keep building up your recall, and to try any technique you wish.

      Happy dreaming!

I haven't succesfully completed a LD technique other than WILD. I reccomend KingYoshi's tutorial on WILDing, and don't worry about swallowing and not scratching. Just don't think about it.
      Good luck WILDing!

No problem! Glad to help! It's great to see devotion very early in someones attempt at lucid dreaming. Trust me, devotion gets you far!

Man, you shouldn't have any trouble! The thing about forgetting a Lucid Dream is that it will never happen. I don't think you would forget a moment like an LD. And again, no one can prove they ever forgot an LD!

I dont think that there is a problem at all. In fact I think that I have only actually ever had one succesful DILD and five or six WILDs. There isnt any specific order to learn them in as long as you work at least a little on recall.

And Filimonki, that is a really good point, I had never thought about that before.
