      WBTB Activities

I find that when I WBTB, the number one reason why I always fall asleep, is because I have nothing to do. There are so many limitations of what you can and cannot do. So my question is; is there anything that you have done during a WBTB that was fun, but still let you have a WILD in the end?

Well, I usually go onto these forums, read the tutorials again, or write in my dream journal, but this usually keeps me occupied for the whole hour. I'm not sure, if you're religious, you could meditate, or pray or something. You don't always have to stay up for a set time, if you're tired, and it's been a fair amount of time, and you feel like lucid dreaming is set in your mind, then you should probably just go ahead and WILD.

I like to read something about dreaming. I either read a few chapters in a lucid dreaming book, or I review my dream journal. It is really fun reading through old dreams. It gets my confidence up, and makes me excited about all the adventures that are to come.

But if you go onto the forums, that would decrease the chances of getting lucid. So that isn't an option. (Incase you wonder why, the bright screen wakes up your brain, which isn't ideal for a WILD)

I go take a piss with the lights off and then lay back down and WILD. There's no rule saying you have to be up for a certain amount of time. Just find the time that grants you enough clarity of mind and tiredness of body for the best WILD results. Don't wait longer than you have to.

But if I don't stay up long enough then I fall asleep, which isn't good. When I wake up via alarm, I get confused as to why I am awake in the first place, and unless I do something to occupy myself so I can figure out why I am awake, them I will fall back asleep.
