Something interesting happened

Last night I kept falling right into dreams and kept waking up so I thought I'd try WILDing. Instead of dreaming I laid there in pitch blackness but I felt inside my head. There was a soft light flashing where I would say the 'third' eye is located and there was a song playing so I just relaxed there fully aware. This happens to me somewhat often but once I'd be aware of the music I would pop right out of it but this time I was able to stay in and listen to it consciously and it was quite amazing and a great song, but didn't sound familiar at all.

This is a good thing, you're getting closer to entering the dream. HH can often come in the form of visual and audio hallucinations. And, I'm moving this to the WILD section.

Well i don't know what was going on, I've WILDed before and I always had very weird noises but never vivid music

Doesn't seem that far fetched to me that you heard music. I've heard all kinds of stuff from laughter, to talking, the TV on in the next room, insect sounds, and the usual rushing/electric stuff. A friend of mine once had a a long hallucination of music - the entire Pink Floyd album "The Dark Side of the Moon"!

I often hear music as part of the auditory hallucinations I get with HH. Sometimes I hear familiar songs, and sometimes they are made up songs. It's an amazing experience, and a great example of how creative our minds can be

I hear everything you can think of as well, including sometimes music - clear as day songs. Usually if I get to the point of hearing things I'm successful at WILD - it's just a matter of waiting a few more moments to make sure SP has kicked in.
