Gonna WILD this 3 day off weekend.

      1pm-3pm
Take your pick of the best time

      Comments? Advice? Tips?

Last week tried once, at 1 lasted till 2 30 or so
1 25 min and another 35 min... Would feel pulse then nothing happens, hearing would also go down and then back to normal, this caused me to wake back up because I thought, is something supposed to happen?

Anyhow give me your two cents... lol

If your asking when is the best time to WILD, it's mostly down to a personal choice, everyones different!

However, there are things you could do to increase the chance of you getting a WILD. Firstly I'd say it's better to be thinking of times like 1AM - 3AM. Using WBTB with the WILD technique is one of the best ways to induce a LD, although it is possible to have a WILD without sleep first, most people find it harder. If you get anything over 5 hours of sleep first, then try the WILD technique, it will greatly increase your chance of getting a LD. Check the WILD tutorials for a more indepth look about WBTB and the times etc.

With regards to your hearing etc, I wouldn't focus on it at all. If your too focused on what your body's doing, you won't be relaxed enough to enter a dream. There's a high chance you won't feel SP, or anything else before you enter a dream, so try not to focus too hard on it. The best single piece of advice I would give you, is to just keep trying and not get demoralised, the more you try the closer you'll get to WILD'ing.

Maybe you should read a WILD guide... there's tons around and they probably can answer all of your questions.

I think the mistake you are making (and the one I'm just realizing I'm making) is that we try to take guides and follow them to the dot. Everyone is different, and we need to tweak the technique to suit us best.

      "I feel my heart glow
with enthusiasm which elevates me to heaven; for nothing contributes so much to tranquillise the mind as a steady purpose--a point
on which the soul may fix its intellectual eye."

true to that, but none of the guides... nor even the official tutorials ever fill in the blanks... I mean laying there is good and all, but at least fill in some blanks, most WILD related guides and so on just explains it in a simple way...... lay there... do stuff and you'll SP/HI in no time. And various things you do while waiting contadicts each other for each people or threads I've read about that relates to WILD..... but I guess as far as it goes I'll just lay there, I lasted for 36 min, so maybe i need more time

I didnt employ any complex tasks

I just meditated then do stuff, then lay down and tell myself to let go, and try to do it when im off track but allow my mind to wonder every now and then, and I'm occupied with bodily sensation every now and then that it makes it easier to wait

If you have enough free time, I recommend that you practice your WILD technique in the afternoon around 1 to 2.
I'd lie down and try to have a WILD nap,
I eventually got the point where multiple times I'd see HI that became a scene, and when I got up (After maybe 30 minutes) I got that feeling you have after you wake up and the bed feels amazing. If you can reach this state, the method you are doing to do so should apply to your honest WILD attempts at night.

It is a pity I'm too busy to do this, it was relaxing and helpful for my WILD attempts. My schedule is steady enough again that I can start focusing on lucid dreaming again a little bit.

      Cheers.
