      Some questions for you...

It said in one of the WILD tutorials that I read, that people experience SP in various ways.

I'm wondering what your experiences with it are? What images do you see...what sounds do you hear...what do you feel? Perhaps the first few times you've experienced it, you felt differently than you do now?

I'm asking because SP freaks me out. I've yet to try it...Just hearing about other peoples bad situations makes me not want to try it! I haven't had a nightmare in a very long time, because I'm able to sweet talk or befriend whoever it is that's chasing me, hurting me...Buuut, I don't know if it's that easy while in SP. =/

Are most hallucinations negative and frightening in nature? Are they easy to turn into postitive images?

I don't get much hh. Occasainly I get sound or feel something but mainly it's pictures. Sp can be controlled just like dreams, I find. And it helps to believe if sp is going to be fun. Some people start by hating sp and then coming to enjoy it.

I'm one of those people, I use to hate sp because it felt like someone was on top of me doing something to me every time i entered sp. Now i find it enjoyable, in fact i don't even get that "old hag" feeling on me any more! I love getting into sp, i sometimes get hi, my hi as i'll describe it only always comes after my dreams, almost never during my wild. And my hi, is always a bunch of faces, the faces look like the transformers faces, and they're always floating around, but they're not scary.

I get loads of sound. Mostly in the form of orchestral pieces that are shockingly beautiful, like classical music, heavy on the violins. Last night I heard someone who sounded like one of the ticket girls in the movies, talking about something unrelated :/

As for images, I mostly get blotches and patterns, and it's hard to look at them for too long. Later on I start seeing my friend's faces, scenes, etc, but I'm not paying that much attention at that point.

What you're feeling and thinking about directly controls your hypnogogia. If you are terrified of hypnogogia... your hypnogogic images will be terrifying (the first time I tried, i was so nervous that I felt an army of spiders crawling up my back and a hobo grabbing at my ankle :-O). So take a positive approach and you'll likely hear things that are more benign. Thinking about music helps too.
