Clip dreams in SP?

I have gotten into what i am pretty sure is SP

.

1. Does listening to calming music on a loop hurt the process?

2. I have previously posted that when i am in SP i have these odd little clips that play in my head (like an oxy clean commercial

) Well they never seem to turn into a dream they just pass by and leave me sitting there saying What was that?

3. I don't know if this was part of SP but kind of funny it felt like I had two hearts beating really fast one was in my chest and the other was in my stomach

As to answer your questions:

1. It shouldn't, as long as you're able to fall asleep with it. About at the same time as you hit SP, your brain basically starts switching over from external hearing (ears) to internal hearing (dream mind), so you won't even notice the music by then. I usually have my computer on while sleeping (the fans create this white noise, which I find quite comforting.) so that should be pretty similar to calming music I would wager.

2. Yes, auditory illusions like that are part of the process which happens when your hearing toggles modes.

When I experienced SP a few days ago, I could hear my fathers voice. Couldn't make out what he was saying, but I just recognized the voice. So what you hear is highly individual. Maybe you watch a lot of commercials?

3. Didn't you know? That's just how we are! Or were you LDing during anatomical class?

Hey,
I've never WILDed before but a couple of times, while LDing , I've felt the same thing...
Somewhat like my stomach was being pushed in...haha,weird...
