      Exclamation Conceptual Theory on the Astral Plane

      This is just a concept theory..

      Our mind, our consciousness, is in it's entirety the epicentre of existence. It controls our life and our livelihood, through the means of perception. Yet it pertains no affiliation with the physical body. Scientists have tried to locate consciousness, too no appeal.

      If, theoretically, the mind has no physical attachment to us, to this world of perception. Would it not be possible for it to move, or project itself?
      As experienced in meditation and lucid dreams there is definitely alternate ways for it too operate.

      When you think about it, everything we see, think, feel, touch, smell or sense is perceived and processed by the mind, or conciousness into a viewpoint.. No one really knows where our conciousness actually lies, could it be that it drifts? If an astral projection is merely projecting consciousness, and with it, the perception of which consciousness entails and creates, is it really such a distant theory?

      In essence or belief.. What is the true barrier?

      If you'd like to come up with some substantial evidence for your substantial claim, we'll change it so it's not "questionable."
      until then, please leave theoretical ideas and musings about astral projection in the inner sanctum.

      "The Astral Body is attached to the physical body through a silver cord. Such cord will ensure the Astral Body will return to the Psychical Body when the Projection is finalized. The Silver Cord will only be severed at time of death, so the traveler will always return unharmed to his Physical Body."

      How would you get back to your body?

      Was the "silver cord" thing taken from an old hymn, or perhaps an Ernest Hemingway novel? Sounds familiar.

      I thing silver cord is not real. I didn't see or feel anything connecting me to body in more than 1000 OBEs I had. I think it is something people would like to have to be sure they are not disconnected from body. It is there to suppress their subconscious fear. Also my brother didn't see anything like that.

      Is real... many projectionist will never see it (as me or as you) but it exists. I have seen it and famous projectionists have seen it on orders (such as pets, etc)

      I have never seen the cord myself in my OBEs. I even tried to look for it, to no avail. I felt behind my head, where people claim it to be, but it was nothing. For those who say it exists, I'm sure it really does exist to them. But not everyone experiences it.

      I don't agree that people only experience it because they are afraid they won't be able to come back to their physical body. Well, maybe subconsciously, but they don't invent a cord with conscious thought. The cord is intriguing though!
