interesting non-lucids prevent me from being lucid

This happend to me 3 times. I was dreaming that I was in the army and we were figthing against alien tripods (war of the worlds but they were killable) and at one moment I stopped and thought: "hey i'm dreaming" but then i thought: "this dream is so interesting i want to continue it" and just like that passed down a chance to become lucid. I did that again in another dream. And the third time I even did a RC and it worked but again I wanted to continue my non lucid dream. Has anyone else have this problem?.

That's really cool. Odd though. That's never happened to me. I always go LD once I go lucid. I would never turn it down. It's too rare and precious to me. Lol.....how did you turn it down...did you just let it fly by and run out of your mind?

Immediately after I thought that I want a dream to continue as before I forgot all about lucidity.

Ah, I do this sometimes and i dont regret it either. Those dreams can be real fun.

So uh..you want to stop it? To do that you'd have to completely isolate yourself from your dream environment and you MUST not get distracted. Dont talk to anyone and preferably, dont get involved in the plot either. Once you're lucid do you're own thing. Blow up a building or just fly away.

      hope that helps

Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard

But when aliens attack and you have a rocket launcher it's a bit difficult not to continue with the dream. Thanks for the tip.
