yes, as real as waking life, as you progress.
can u wake urself up?
at will.
can u do ANYTHING in them?
anything you can think of.
again, this is as you progress. you can't just go to sleep tonight expecting to have perfect LDs. i have been lucid dreaming for about a year now, and i have long LDs that are very vivid about once a week, but i have little control and i'm working on that. it's different for every person, for some it takes a long time to get and for others it's easy. it's just like learning to swim or play the drums. you just have to really want to do it, and be willing to spend time on it.
