Funny, I love a song from Florence and the Machine with the line: Here I am, a rabbit hearted girl Frozen in the headlights [...] I must become a lion hearted girl Ready for a fight so my interpretation of a lion in a dream would be quite different. Do you by any chance know a little about the lore of the video game bloodborne? There's a lot of things in it about slugs being linked to higher plan of existence or way to enlarge one's mind. If not, it's a great game! (a little to gory for Eli so I don't play it, but that's what let's play are for!)

Daytime stuff crops often in dreams, I noticed. Quite some times ago I had to read an introduction to freudian psychology for school, and he named the dreams where we relieved part of the day / have something that bugged us during the day surface a form a wish-furfillement, linking it to children that would dream of the sweets they were refused. I not sure that I agree with that interpretation, as freudian stuff is severly outdated, but it's food for thought and I find that kind of dreams funny. That being say, I can't help but think that hidding in gore would be insanitary. doubly so in case of zombie outbreak
Sending schoolgirls after someone is an downright evil move, evil I say! I would know, my own sister had a gaggle of friends when she was a schoolgirl herself and it was the worse. The high pitched voices, the cloud of sugary perfume... Lucidity does feel different isn't it? It's like the wool is pulled off your eyes or something... Nice thinking about hugging your villain, it seem that he is just misunderstood.. Or he likes hugs. Liking hugs is allowed for villain, right?
The tunnel sounds like a wyrmhole which is what we go through whenever we Travel in dreams, making leaps from one dream to another. We do it so quickly, most people don't perceive the wyrmhole. Some wyrmholes are infested with all kinds of parasites which stick to us and prevent us from Travelling, especially to Outer Space, The Moon, and beyond.
