Thread: New Dream

I had a (very) strange dream a couple nights ago. Here's the quick summary:

In the dream it's a Saturday. I'm in my basement which has typical basement windows. I see someone's foot steps. I go up to the first floor and find that its Bob (fictitious name obviously). Now this is a real friend that I went to college with but we haven't seen each other in a while and generally text back and forth.

A bit later I get a call from the director of Snow White and the Huntsman (seriously). She says that she's read a short story I had published -in the dreamverse -and she was in Manhattan and wanted to get together. I should mention that I do write and am in the process of writing a short story that I want to publish at some point.

Anyway, I get separated from Bob somewhere in my house and go to NY on my own. It's sometime in the afternoon. I meet the director. She's there with the female lead of SWAH and a guy who turns out to be the girl's agent. I also want to mention that while this dream had a lot of specific detail, nowhere was the lead girl given a name, which makes sense since there are two SWAH movies currently being made! Very strange, and very specific.

I hit it off with the director lady that invited me out. We make plans for all of us to go out (it's night now) and catch some movie. In whatever theater. They three of them actually had made plans prior to my invitation so I'm invited to tag along. At some point the girl and her agent take a short leave. The director and I are left alone. We talk about my story, briefly. Then I say that Bob would probably love to come to catch a movie. I try to reach him on his cell but have no luck so I tell the director that I'm gonna go home and get Bob.

I leave. I pick up Bob. My dream ends with me looking at a large subway map (similar to the ones in actual stations) and trying to figure out how I can get back to Manhattan and to where I originally met the director. I find Bob is not beside me.

Any thoughts on the dream? I mean I have a few myself but want to get a few other interpretations.
