      Post Feelings In Dreams?

Ok basically i think im in the rite section if not i appologise.

I had a dream and its the only dream where i can remember the whole thing.

Basically the whole dream was me being chased by a dog which kept catching me and biting me.
Its hard to explain but i swear i felt "real" pain and i can remember it just hurting like pain in real life situations. I woke up and i was just sweating and my eyes were waterfilled asif my body was really reacting to real pain.

Anybody else experienced anything similar? and does anyone have better information on what the experience was

      To quote the matrix,
If real is what you can feel, smell, taste and see, then 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain.
Just a vivid dream, in my opinion.

but I want to know what you think it is. Could it be otherworldly presences? Unknown spirits? Or just your own imagination?

I've had real pain in dreams as well. It is just your imagination. Same as with tastes, smells, and sounds. Now what really will mess you up is if the pain lingers into the next day or two.

Nothing special, I've had it before, and I know other dreamers have pain in dreams too.

I've died in my dreams many times.

Also, quite a few members have died in their dreams as well, some even attempt suicide in lucids. As it is an interesting experience.

I think people with a more vivid imagination can experience things in their dreams that most people don't. I was always annoyed, as a kid, reading books by "experts" who said people can't experience pain or die in their dreams.
I have always felt real, sometimes excruciating pain in my dreams when such appear. Sometimes the pain is the memory of a similar experience; sometimes it's transferance from pain felt by my sleeping body and manifesting itself in my dreams. But sometimes, it's simply how I imagine such pain would feel.

One of the dreams that spurred me into researching was when I was a young teen. I dreamed I was walking across a train trussel. I was very high off the ground and couldn't get out of the way of an approaching train and I was squashed. My body became a glob of goo under the wheels of the train and when I looked around I realized I was dead. The dream then became black and I woke up.
In another dream, I had my head squashed by a train when I was thrown out of a car and into the path of a derailing train. I heard and felt the bones of my skull snap and woke up with a headache

I've also been stabbed, shot, have drowned, been lost in space, fallen off cliffs onto the ground, bitten by snakes falling out of trees on me etc. I had pain with each of those dreams, but I think the pain I haven't really experienced in life was a muted sort.
Memories of specific pain, though, were just as vivid and powerful as the real thing.

It's not the physical pain that bothers me too much, I usually have dreams where i have extreme mental pain or stress (like say in the dream all my loved ones hate me) and then wake up with a crazy heartbeat.

p.s. no-name, funny picture, shamwow or something right? haha.

Wow sound like uve had a nice ride then, as far as i can remember i dont think ive ever died in a dream yet, if ive fallen of something high i always think ive woken before i hit the ground and in 1 dream i was in a ballin a corner being shot by several people but i just didnt die the bullets pierced my skin but then dissapeared. Maybe i have died but dont remember so im definately going to start a dream journal.

Have you attempted suicide in a lucid? ive had 5 LD's so far but never really thought of anything like that during, suppose it would be an interesting experience to see how far you can go knowing that you can simply be 'reborn' in a dream.

No I have not. A lot of members have though, check the signatures of people who have a list of goals. They usually show what they've done so far.
