      DC's holding me back

Last night I had a lucid. I went outside my door, and it was cloudy and rainy, but with an end-of-all-times glorious light shining down through it. it was cold and windy, but being in a dream, I only felt what I wanted of both, and it was awesome. So I decided I wanted to fly up and watch from the skies. After several failed attempts at that, I decided I would walk around a big bush in my yard and find a jetpack there. And there it was. As I was strapping it on, a DC comes up to me and starts telling me something about some neighborhood dream committee or something. He said they didn't take too kindly to people messing around in their dreams, and I'd do best to put the jetpack down. Not wanting to waste my lucid dream, I put it down, resolving to find another way to fly. And then I woke up.

Interesting story. If this happens again, reach in your pocket and show them your 'Lucid License' or something Such things might help.

Ah. I'm out of practice with lucid dreaming. Just decided that I would get back into it last night. left myself a note saying "I will have a lucid dream tonight" and happened to have one, along with a lot more dreams than I usually have. I've forgotten my old creative ways

Anyways, I'll keep that in mind if I run into them again. Or similar situations.

I'm surprised how civil some people are with dream characters while lucid.

"He said they didn't take too kindly to people messing around in their dreams, and I'd do best to put the jetpack down"
Hahahhahaa that is freaking hilarious. It sounds like he was totally screwing with you, or that he had no idea just whose dream this really was.

If this happens again, "reach back like a pimp and slap the ho!" as Eazy-E would say. Let them know who is boss, it's your dream!

In one of my last lucid dreams I had an awesome time practicing different flying techniques and I actually used sort of a jet-pack approach at one time (inspired by GTA San Andreas). So I started dipping down and flying up again, and when ever I dipped down I'd tap DC's in the head and go back up. They started chasing me and trying to pull me down to no avail while I was just cracking up - good times!

Dude, just get rid of them, and completely ignore them caus they aren't real lol.

For instance, once when i realised i was dreaming, i was driving my Nissan 350z with my dad in the passenger seat. Soon as i knew it was a dream, first thing i did was punch my dad in the face and pushed him out of the car so that he wouldn't distract me. lol

Its a dream, no consequence, remember that!
Dream characters are just distractions imo, unless you meet your dream guide.
      Your in control!

Calmly explain to him that you are the head of the committee and expect him to believe it
