Some things I have tried

Well, first I would like to say, Finally -A few months ago I frequented this site and came to love the forum, how ever apparently I was a few months to young and was kicked off til my birthday, and i would like to say that I think that is just stupid. But I do understand why. Thankfully I get pretty into this stuff so I have kept up my dream journal since I was last on And on top of just doing what I had been doing I made the desicion to try out some random new stuff. First of all, I wanted to try and calm myself down before going to bed so I got myself a remote operated stereo system thing and played my favorite music before going to bed, that would be slow calmer old Pink Floyd psychedelic music and similar music from the sixties. Secondly, as another method of calming myself down before sleeping was painting my room my favorite calming color, that being purple. Upon doing these two things I seemed to have a slightly increased rate of lucid dreams. Another thing I did, and I am not sure what made me want to do this, was that I wrote poems in my dream journal about my dream. I would pick some kind of absract detail that occured in my dream and from there I would support that absract idea with concrete details that I could recall. Also, I dont really think this is too diferent and I am sure people have probably done this before, but I wrote down all of my favorite parts of the day for a few weeks and then picked the reoccuring things and found that those things happened in my dreams frequently to. So I made a new list of the reoccuring ones and did a reality check everytime one of them happened in real life. ie. reality check everytime I hug my girlfriend So what are your thoughts?

Also, somehow I forgot to mention this, my bed hangs from the ceiling and swings. kind of like a hammock but it is a matress. And for some reason that seems to have helped to.
