      Elyuu's workbook

Elyuu's here and I hope I would become more motivated if I interact with more fellow lucid dreamer.

      Reality check:

      - stuck my nose.
      - Stare into my palm

      Dream sign

      - Weird context.

      - Always being accompanied with two people although every time their appearance were not same. Either they following me around or I follow one of them.

      - School

      Short term goal.

      - To remember my dreams.
      - To sneak my awareness in my dreams.

      Long term goal

      - To create something in my dream and bring it in my real life.
      - Vacations from reality.

      Lucid/Dream Recall History:

      - Before practising LD - 1 recall in some period of times.
      - After practising - At least 2 per night.
      - 1 recall in two days if have difficulty recalling.

      Current Technique:

It's been 2 weeks where I struggle to remember my dreams.

What I do to maintain my dream recall is to write my wake journal. It work for increasing my dream recall from average 2 per night to 4 to 5 per night but not work for everyday recall. Then since two days ago I do mantra " remember dream" repeatedly in my technique during my sleep interval. It seems work.

Still I didn't satisfied with my recall. In today's dream, I seems to question something to doubt my reality but I can't remember it. Maybe I act 'don't care' again in the dream?

Hey elyuu, welcome to the Intro Class!

I read about your lucid dream in your journal, and I gotta say, well done with the spinning technique. You used it several times, as well as your nose pinch, and it sustained your lucidity. I am really impressed! I thoroughly enjoyed reading that dream. Especially the part about the lizards

Thank you teacher for reading them. As you see, I didn't expect to get Lucid that earlier so I hardly could control anything and I was not ready yet.

The lizards... That's the recurring element in my dreams that I notice.

No reality check today because no time to space out but I worry I would get stress without me notice. My no. 1 dream recall killer! So, I workout a little for 5 minute and would go to bed at 11.30 pm. Wake up tomorrow at 3.15 am and would go back to sleep at least 1 hour after that.

Ok, but honestly I only do that to remember my dream not to aim for lucid. Oh yah, sorry about the chat. I need time to learn how to use it.

Something feel strange as I woke up not at 3.15 am but 4.15 am without alarm. But I remember I set my alarm. Again am I false awakening? Pinch my nose, I couldn't breath. Stare at my hands, there's nothing strange. Stick my finger to my palm...... I'm not dreaming.

I went back to bed around 4.45 am and woke up again at 6.30 am. I recall one dream and it's about work and problem. Still sleepy I went back to sleep around 8 am to 10 am. This time I couldn't recall anything. But the emotion (something related to not happy, I guess) from the dream I had before woke up still linger for several minute.

Hmm, not bad. I can remember something stressful from my dream memory. Usually it just get rid of them without trace.

Mantra I use : "Remember dream" and "Stay still/ step back and think!"

Something I lazy to do: All day awareness, being observant to my surrounding.

It's been 18 days since I learn to LD and did WBTB almost 3 weeks. Finally get the hang on how to work with the technique. Sorting out my dream journal, it have 38 dreams. 38 dreams in 18 days? I indeed dreaming everyday, huh? God, it's a wonder.

WBTB aside, the main problem now is dream recall. I finally said "It's a dream." and "what if it's a dream" in one or two dreams that I remember. Something I never did in any dream before because when I'm dreaming I always accept it 100% as reality no matter how absurd the dream was but now I manage to question them. That's it El, go for it, question them all!

But what's the point if I can't recall them?

Auto suggestions. Oh right, there's auto suggestions.

Please remember the dreams even if I'm stress!

Went to bed at 1 am (2 hours later than usual) and woke up at 4.30 am. Back to bed at 4.50 am to 6.30 am

Again, today I can't remember my dream. Just remember very little of them and didn't know what words to express them.

I decide to step back a little and review again from lesson 1 and 2

Have 4 days holiday and try to use them to understand MILD technique.

Nope. I need to wake up at 3 or 4 am and this would continue at least until 2 weeks later. Let's see what will happen after 2 weeks. For now I just practice what I can.

Lucid or not, I'm not sure.

Yesterday I manage to sleep around 11 pm and being awake naturally around 1.45 am. I end up can't sleep after that until 3 am.

Give up to wait further I out of my bed and went to my kitchen have some food and walk back to bed and manage to sleep around 4 am.

As I woke up at 5.55 am I recall a very nice dream. Lucky

Star Angel - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views

Then I went back to sleep some more and woke up at 8 am. This time I was lucky too because I recall another dream.

Angry Mob - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views

But this dream... I don't know if I can say it lucid or not. If not, I know I was dreaming but let the dream flow and I act as it just a natural thing

On side note, I wonder if those vivid dreams I have were because I took some supplement to strengthen memories at 4 am. The kind of supplement for students. I have consume it before and the recall was ok. Yesterday I refuse to take it and just consume soy lecithin.

If I can recall my dream vividly because of the supplement. Is it ok to consume it?

Long term goal to lucid dream

      - Can perform lucid dream at will

Oh well done Elyuu! That was indeed a lucid dream, because you knew you were dreaming while STILL in the dream. You even knew that your real body was in bed somewhere else, because you were afraid that shouting in the dream would mean your real voice would also shout and your sister would hear (I have had this fear in the past too haha. It turns out, when I decided to shout anyway, and endure the embarrassment, my real voice never made a sound. Just thought I'd let you know that).

So sorry that your dream got interrupted by someone throwing a rock at your roof lol. I hope you kicked their butt

Thank you OpheliaBlue So I guess I could count my LD to two.

lol I would keep it in mind about the shouting. The one who throw rock was my mother because some monkeys decide to stole her papaya on it's tree

Alright, two weeks past since I complain about my dream recall and now I guess it's same as ever. But those two weeks, there were two times that I almost Lucid:

      1. When I saw some blue weed in a garden and I thought I want to plant them so it would also grew in my dream

      2. When I fold clothes in the dream and a shirt fall to a gap on my wood floor, I thought if this a dream the shirt would stop falling and it would come back to me. The shirt indeed stop and float back to me but I didn't think further after that.

I'm still doing WBTB since I ever have an FA with the tech. I guess I should begin to chose an induce technique. Hmm....

I'm also experiment with supplement that involve Choline, but the dream seems distance in term of visualisation and I could recall more in one dream after I consume it. It feel strange. But I stop taking it because I don't want to depend on supplement to LD.

Today I woke up at 5 am after about 4 hours of sleep and fail to fall asleep after that. My WBTB fail today and no dream recall at all.

Oh that's very cool elyuu.. you basically had a DILD there! With a successful reality check and everything. Next time that happens to you, you can extend the lucid dream by have a short list (that you make yourself memorize in the day, and again before bed). This can include things like, "Next time I realize I am lucid, I will try to fly. Or attempt a Task of the Month." Make it a short list of simple things that you can easily recall IN the dream, that way you will control the dream, instead of just going back to folding the clothes (or whatever it was that happened after that).
