      making some progress

      well just a few hours ago, i started to become conscious and instantly was able to think to myself ok, dont move, so i could stay in sleep paralysis, i didnt think i would be able to do this as i am so used to just waking up and moving, i was trying to think at this point how to make myself become lucid, but i fell back asleep, this whole process happened 3 times in a row. i know its nothing amazing but im very happy with my progress so far. also upon waking up i remembered a very vivid dream that i was able to write down in my dream journal. any suggestions how i can get lucid from the point where i was able to keep myself still so i could stay in sleep paralysis ?
      hopefully things will only get better and easier.

      Sounds like you did dream chaining, which is a technique that uses DIELD. Way to go!
