would like to say HELLO&HI to all!
i'm new here in the forum (or consider old since i have been reading this forum many years ago)

here's a newbie ques: am i having SP?

i've been doing some dream recall since a week ago, and just this morning i think i experience SP, i'm not sure, but it seem like it, the story goes: i woke up by an SMS, read and fallback asleep immediately, next moment in the dream i'm folding plasticbox with a strange technique, i was like no, i dont usually fold boxes, and this technique is so funny (not logical), i asked myself is this real or dream? there... i got lucid for the 1st time.

But the moment i get lucid, the next thing i know is i feel my body numb, like a shockwave run pass from my head to my leg, it moving fast, then i know it might be SP. i get so worry about the feeling, i try to shack my head and wake myself. but its kinda hard to move and very heavy. i'm not sure how long it lasted, but in dream it feel really short, like 15sec from dream to awake. opinion?

Glad you signed up. You should have done it sooner!

I don't think that was SP, I think you just got paralysed in a dream. It's annoying but it happens to the best of us.. you just have to try and fight it.

Yeah, it sounds like you were experiencing this inside of a dream. You don't get SP in a dream, you get it in your real body. Next time this happens remind yourself that it is YOUR dream and you're in control and move your body.

Glad you joined! I was with LD4all before, but let me just tell you that this community provides a much better read as well as having a bunch of really nice people.

What you've experienced is not SP, since you're already lucid. Just remember to stay calm and relax whenever this feeling occurs. You can do it

Like raspberry said you should have joined sooner!!

You could have possibly been feelings the effects of sp in your dream. But next just remember that you're in your mind. And it is not necessary to feel sp inside of a dream.
