      Greetings to all!

      Hello,

I am just a guy from Poland who loves Animals and Black Metal, but other Metal too ;)

I've been practicing Lucid Dreaming since 3.5 years, but unfortunately I only had about 3 very short lucid dreams since I started. 2 of these LD's were purely coincidential and I am unable to keep these dreams stable. That means that my LD-rate is about one per year, and I would really like to raise that. Thats why I joined these forums, hoping that I can find help and that I can be helpful too, once I gain some experience in a lucid dream.
Even though I have struggles in my life which are difficult for me, I don't want to stop practising and I don't want to give up.
It's easy to lose motivation after 3.5 years without major success, trust me. But still I want to achieve a steady stream of LD's eventually and hope that I can find someone who can help and motivate me ;)

I wish you all a good day (and a good night, since this is a forum about dreaming)

      (sorry for bad english)

      He DieForMetal, welcome to DreamViews!

Well we definitely would like to see you have more than 1 lucid dream per year, that's for sure! What do you usually do for your LDing practice?

      Hello OpheliaBlue,

Thanks for your welcome. I usually practice the basic form of DILD and check my surroundings multiple times a day (with RC and so on). Around 2 years ago I tried LD-ing with a combination of WBTB + WILD, but that went wrong unfortunately, since I have to get up early and therefore I couldn't always wake up in the middle of the night. I also have a dream journal that I use to improve dream recall. That journal helped me somewhat, but my dream recall is nowhere near perfect.

Yeah I find that WBTB helps me the most on my days off, where I have the luxury of sleeping in late. Do you have to wake up early EVERY morning?

No not every morning, I can sleep longer on most of my weekends, since I am still in school. But that is my last school year so things will change in a few months. I'm not entirely sure what factors in my waking life can affect my dreaming abilities.
